Musician Doing Good Spotlight - Tricia Fox

The newest addition to Music Doing Good’s Core Artists, Tricia Fox brings an exciting new sound to Music Doing Good. Tricia mixes contemporary pop and 1940’s jazz with a softness that comes from her singer/songwriter roots. In her first few appearances with Music Doing Good, Tricia has proven herself able to stun audiences, whether fronting the Music Doing Good backing band or standing alone on stage with her guitar.

Tricia graduated from Naropa University in Colorado with a BA in Music. During her senior year, Tricia organized a benefit concert for cystic fibrosis research. The concert let her see her dream of using music to heal come to fruition. “Not only can we bring people together for a positive cause, but we can raise funds to support them,” remarks Tricia, who says this experience solidified her passion for using music to assist individuals and communities as a whole.

Tricia will be heading Music Doing Good’s brand new program, “Lyrical Legacies.” Through Lyrical Legacies, seniors in the community are given the opportunity to share and record their stories and voices through songwriting. With a professional songwriter offering one on one guidance and assistance, each participant is given the opportunity to write and record their personal song and then share it with friends and family. You can help Music Doing Good continue to offer unique music outreach programs like this to the members of our community.
