Full House At "Moonlight & Memories"
Amidst the buzz of tail gating and cool fall weather, a sold out crowd gathered together to celebrate the Christi Center's 25th Anniversary this past Saturday at "Moonlight & Memories." As part of the evening's celebration, Music Doing Good put on a special performance, using songs, spoken word, and video interludes to tell the story of the the Christi Center and shed a light on their good work. The production team at Music Doing Good worked closely with the Christi Center to create a show specifically for the evening. The music ranged from deeply moving acoustic serenades, to Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic "You'll Never Walk Alone," to well known pop hits, including a rendition of Train's "Calling All Angels," which brought the crowd to their feet and left them dancing in the aisles. As part of the performance, the core artists of Music Doing Good performed their original song, "It Comes In Waves," which was inspired by the work the Christi Center does and the deeply touching story of their organization.
