Earlier this month, Music Doing Good with Instruments donated 42 violins to the orchestra program at Houston’s KIPP Sharp! This donation continues a multi-year partnership with the KIPP Sharp Orchestra Program, as they continue to grow. Music Doing Good continues to strategize with KIPP teachers and administrators to provide support for their music students from elementary to high school. We’re constantly inspired by their dedicated staff, who also believe that music is an integral ingredient in a child’s education and development.
KIPP Sharp Students Perform with New Instruments
When we grant instruments to underserved students and schools, our hope is that these instruments find a home with dedicated student musicians. We think music should be shared with your friends, family, and community, so we love when instruments we donate get used on stage!
Don’t Miss the Concert This Friday!
On October 26th, the KIPP Sharp Orchestra will perform their fall concert, Strings to the Front, at Houston’s Midtown Arts & Theater Center of Houston (MATCH) with ALKALI! All proceeds go to benefit the students at KIPP Sharp. We can’t wait to see these students (and their instruments) onstage and in the spotlight!
